Course Description:       In this course you will learn about the history of the English language. You will also be challenged by a
comprehensive review of grammar, with emphasis on basic sentence patterns and the eight parts of speech. I t also contains a review and
practice of punctuation and capitalization, along with verb conjugations. Writing skills are focused as you are encouraged to think analytically
and to write with clarity. This course also includes an in-depth study of two literature books.

  • King James Bible
The two literature books listed can be purchased by the high school, at an additional cost to student, or the student my check out a copy at
their local library for free.
